Showcasing some of the finest emerging musicians in the UK, this concert in is a treat for lovers of Hindustani music.

Featuring the haunting beauty of the Bansuri flute with the classical sound of the sitar, this a concert of true relaxation and enjoyment. Accompanied by tabla maestro Kousic Sen, each of the performers are members of either SAMYO, The National Youth Orchestra for Indian Music, or TARANG, The National Ensemble for Indian Music. Raaheel Husain, Ensemble Leader for TARANG, will perform with fellow TARANG member and sitarist, Jasdeep Singh Degun, alongside SAMYO member Jessica Mistry.

SAMYO and TARANG are elite ensembles that provide intense training and valuable performance opportunities for developing and emerging musicians. Read more about the ensembles here.

Hi, I notice this event is free admission, is it possible to obtain a ticket in advance?

    Dear Darren, thank you for your enquiry. The event is un-ticketed so arriving a little early will ensure you a seat, the concert begins at 1pm and the hall opens 30 minutes prior to the performance. Lunch is also available from Mayur restaurant from 12:15pm in the venue foyer. We hope to see you on Saturday.
