Performing together for the first time, this concert features a unique collaboration between sitarist Josh Feinberg and tabla maestro Kousic Sen.

First introduced to classical music as a child, Josh is trained in both piano and bass violin. Through his Jazz studies with Dan Weiss and a passion for improvisation, Josh was introduced to North Indian classical music and decided to continue his musical journey with the sitar. He has trained under Vijaya Sundaram and Ust. Ali Akbar Khan, and at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Josh is an internationally acclaimed musician and has regularly toured the US, Canada, India and Europe. He has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including tap dancer Savion Glover, saxophonist Patrick Lamb and jazz drummer Richie Barshay. He is also a dedicated teacher and author.

The Music for the Mind and Soul concert series welcomes the return of its Artist in Residence, tabla artiste, Kousic Sen. Kousic is a percussionist sought after by musicians of the highest calibre. Having performed across the globe, he has earned the nickname “the Master Drummer from Kolkata”. His unique mastery of rhythm elevates concert experiences to new heights.
