Performing a very special evening raga, Rajhesh Vaidhya is a master of the veena, one of India’s most extraordinary instruments.

Rajhesh has been performing since childhood and is the 2010 Kalaimamani award winner. He has performed in venues across the world and has worked with prolific film composers and musicians such as Sir Elton John. Known for his blistering speed, Rajhesh’s style is exemplified by his use of electric and amplified strings and his vibrant musical energy.

Joining Rajhesh on stage are some of the finest percussionists known for their ability to lift any musical experience to new heights – RN Prakash on mridangam and Prathap Ramachandra on ghatam.


Indika is Europe’s finest festival of Indian arts curated by Milapfest and will be running in venues across Liverpool and beyond from 17th October to 3rd November. For full listings, click here.
