Join us for a free dhol class at Arts School. Suitable for all ages, we have a number of dhol drums available to use so everyone can have a go.
“The dhol drum dates back to the 15th century. It was used in war and the later in Punjab, North India, to keep farmers going at work. This drum became the ground roots of Bhangra music as we know it today”. Find out more about the Dhol and its history on the BBC Radio 3 website.
No need to book. Just join us at The Cornerstone Building of Liverpool Hope University’s Creative Campus at 12:15pm to sign up.
