Bragha Bessell – BHARATANATYAM
Bragha Bessell is a senior student of Adyar K Lakshman and Kalanidhi Narayanan and is renowned for her abhinaya expertise. She is the quintessential Bharata Natyam dancer, totally immersed in the art of learning and in the emotional aspects of the music she portrays. Her classes in Abhinaya, interpretation and choreography are eagerly attended by senior dancers, teachers and students. With many awards to her credit, she has given numerous performances all over the world.
Priyadarsini Govind – BHARATANATYAM
After initial training under Smt. Usha, Priyadarsini Govind specialized in abhinaya under ‘Padma Bhushan’ Smt. Kalanidhi Narayanan from the age of nine. Priyadarsini received advanced training in Bharatanatyam under Guru Swamimalai K. Rajaratnam, exponent of the Vazhvoor School from the age of ten. Priyadarsini imbibes the best of both her teachers.
Anjana Anand – BHARATANATYAM
Bharatanatyam exponent Anjana Anand is known for her precise footwork, mature expressiveness (abhinaya) admirable vigour and lissome grace. Her training in the martial arts (kalaripayattu) has brought focus and firmness, while her roles in JustUs Repertory productions have helped her to grow into a versatile artiste straddling genres.
Sujata Mohapatra – ODISSI
Sujata Mohapatra is arguably one of the finest Odissi dancers of recent times. Her Guru, Kelucharan Mohapatra was a legend in the world of Indian dance, and Sujata embodies all the very best traits of his style – grace, beauty, passion, energy and striking stage presence. Her dance has an arresting and a striking sculpturesque quality that is most dynamic. Among the present generation she has established herself as a dancer and teacher of repute.
Vidha Lal – KATHAK
Vidha Lal, a multi-facated Kathak exponent is a disciple and daughter-in-law of renowned guru and Sangeet Natak Akademy awardee Smt. Geetanjali Lal of Jaipur Gharana. Vidha has emerged as a rising star in the field of Kathak. She is an empanelled artist of Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) and A graded artist from Delhi Doordarshan.
Abhimanyu Lal – KATHAK
Abhimanyu Lal, son and disciple of renowned guru Smt. Geetanjali Lal, is recongnized as one of the most accomplished Kathak dancers. The splendour of his brilliant solo performance has earned him applause both in India and other parts of the world. Hailed as a bright star in the firmament of Kathak, Abhimanyu has received acclaim as a dazzling dancer by the media and connoisseurs of arts. He has been awarded Shri Krishana Gana Sabha Endowment Award and Nritya Jayantika Award.
