Milapfest's 2010 performance season begins with a high profile production of Akram Khan Company's bahok, presented in partnership with The Lowry.

Bahok has toured worldwide to critical acclaim, and is the result of the Akram Khan Company's original collaboration with the National Ballet of China. The production will appeal to lovers of all types of Indian, contemporary and classical dance, and features exhilarating dance movement, as well as a fascinating interpretation of national identity and belonging.
